Our story
We’ve lived in the Catskills since 2016 where we got married and started our business together, Homestedt. As local residents we fell in love with the North Branch Cider Mill. The more we learned about it’s history, the more it reminded us of the places we grew up visiting during our childhoods in England and Sweden.
It broke our heart to see it slowly falling to ruin, and one day realised we might be the right people to bring it back to life. It took us a year and a half to persuade the previous owner to sell the place to us, and another year to open the doors again.
Now we’re slowly bringing the place back to life and hope you can come by to experience it first hand. After all, this place has been creating memories in the area since 1942, and hopefully for many more to come.
